What is NESDCA and why is that important you ask?

NESDCA stands for National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association.  NESDCA was formed by Pest Control Professionals as a independent certifying organization to ensure that the highest standards for Entomology Scent Detection Canines are upheld and as a information resource center for the consumer and the Pest Control Industry.

Our dog, Grissom, as well as his handler, Todd, are an accredited team through NESDCA.

Grissom has been trained by world renowned canine trainer, Pepe Peruyero, owner of J & K Canine Academy. Pepe is a retired police officer/ K9 handler and trainer. Pepe’s method of training is the ONLY scientifically proven and tested method for canine scent detection of bed bugs as sighted by the University of Florida’s Entomology Department study, showing that his canines are 98% effective in locating the scent of live bed bugs and viable eggs - versus humans that are only 17 - 30% effective.
